I forgot to post this before we went, but better late than never!

Pre-Trip Report

I kept adding to this ever since the day we decided to go(Jan 08)

Cast

Jo – 33 Turn 34 in the land of mouse –on past visits always to chicken for the coasters.
Trevor-38 loves Disney and big coasters!
Louisa-11 Loves all rides and all things Disney- looking forward to TOT & The Hulk!
Joseph- 3 First visit to the land of mouse, and first time flying!
Angela- 42 The big kid of the group, new to Disney
Daniel-11 New to the world of Disney

We as a family of 4 decided to go to WDW at the end of Jan- although I must say hubby wanted to go end of previous year and I said no! So he was tutting and gloating rather a lot!
Decision made to go and we decided on the Feb half term so that Louisa would only miss 1 week of school and it wouldn’t be too hot for little man. We were all brimming with excitement and so the discussions began.

I couldn’t wait to share the news with my dear friend Angie. I think she thought I was nuts as I sat and gabbled 10 to the dozen about the wonders of Disney!

As the days passed she said how her and her hubby had always planned to take Dan when he was 10, but due to the sad loss of her hubby she couldn’t ever imagine going on her own. So we invited her to join us. She said she would think about it and get back to me. I knew it wouldn’t take much for ‘the biggest kid I know’ to agree!
And so we went from 4 to 6 YAY!

And so it’s booked – 14 nights in a 4 bed villa at Tuscan Hills resort.
Let the planning commence!

Mid May we had an evening of watching old holiday footage of previous trips to Florida, Dan was trying to hide his excitement, but didn’t do a very good job! His mum was even worse and was squealing with excitement. (Oh my god what have we let ourselves in for agreeing to take her with us! )

We popped to DLRP mid June for a quick fix to try and keep us going – the kids loved it! You can read our trip report for that here...

Well , Now we are into 2009 and OMG the excitement is building!
We go to Florida THIS YEAR woooohooo!

Jan – Booked the Sofitel as a treat to start the holiday in true style!

Feb 2nd – all packed, helped Angie pack yesterday so at least I know she is organised too! All paperwork sorted out and organised for the trip, just few final bits to do before travelling up to Gatwick on Wednesday afternoon. Just hoping that the snow won’t cause us too much of a delay on Thursday!

Feb 3rd - Everything done ready for the off tomorrow, planning to head up to the Sofitel about 4pm after the kids finish school.
