California & Vegas Sep 09 - Day 13

We were up a little earlier today, you'll all be pleased to read though not by much as it was already 10am, we were ready and out heading for Seaworld by 11.45 or so. Unfortunately the sun didn't seem to want to be shinning much today or rather the clouds just wanted to cover it up, it was pretty overcast and I was hoping maybe late rint he day it would clear and the sun would be shinning, but it didn't change too much .
We got the tram from the station across from the hotel one stop to the American plaza then the blue tram line to the Old town station where we had to pick up the number 8 or maybe number 9 bus, the journey was very easy and we haven't found getting around San Diego by public transport a problem at all. The journey took about 30-45 mins maybe a little less and that included waiting times. We soon arrived at Seaworld and after a look around and spotting the Dolphins.

We were hungry and decided to get some lunch before seeing anymore of the park, somewhere suitable to eat found we both chose the BBQ cheese steak burger with fries & coke plus a jelly for Darren & Carrott cake for me for dessert, food enjoyed which came to about $32 we headed off to enjoy our day at Seaworld.

It was soon approaching 2.45p or so and we wanted to go watch the 3pm Clyde & Seymor show so made our way to the stadium for that.
The show was great fun and there was a man doing pre show entertainment which some of was really funny.

It was now about 6pm and we had seen everything we wanted to really but had missed the afternoon 'Believe' show and i wanted to see it so we decided to hang around for it, a bit peckish we sat down for a muffin/cake and a drink and also hoping it would pass some time.
A Shamu cookie & cream for Darren with a hot chocolate and a coke & Banana & nut muffin for me, Darren didn't really like the cookie so went to get a crossiant to have instead.

Food and drink consumed we headed towards the stadium and had about a 5 minute wait before they let us in to take get a seat, we had about a 15 minute was untill the show started but the killer whales were swimming about during the time.

show over, we made our way to the exit and the bus stop, we were pretty chilly waiting as it was now dark and nighttime in San Diego isn't nearly as hot as they had been in Vegas or even Anaheim.
The bus came and we headed back to the hotel, we got back about 8.30pm and too lazy to be bothered to go out for food plus Darrenw as feeling a bit sick we ordered Dominos pizza with plenty of chicken wings ;-) and ate that in the room while watching tv and backing our stuff up ready to head to Hollywood in the morning for our last stop on this trip

Hope Darren feels better tomorrow...what is it with California making so many of us feel poorly...it's a mystery!
