Natsy, take a look at this link:
chapmanphotography/pdfs/STVS1.pdf

I wasn't sure I wanted videography either but I seem to be warming to the idea

Is it an additional $525?
I really can't justify that for video
My dad can record it, that's fine, I'll never even watch it...the pictures will be looked at all the time, that'll do me fine!
Thanks anyway Hayley x

We keep changing our minds about video too. Really don't want to have to pay that much out, but then keep thinking will we be making a mistake by not having it. My camera does video as well but i don't know who we can get to film it as i should imagine most will want to watch the wedding?

I was just going to buy a cheap tripod from play.com or something. My dad has a camcorder, we will be getting one before the trip (likely a Xmas present from dad or something), I've seen tripods for about £8 on play or amazon so will take it just for that, leave it there if I need to! Sound won't be so good but we'll be able to hear something and the picture will do just fine. The photos are all I need, they'll be what I look at, I doubt I'll watch the video so I'd rather spend the money on nicer wedding rings or extra things to do as special wedding treats, e.g. KTTK, Blue Man Group, MNSSHP tickets or something...$500+ is a lot of money!

I agree. I might buy a tripod too actually for my digital camera. We were going to buy a camcorder for the wedding but i know we wouldn't use it again. Don't mind spending money on photos but i'm too tight to spend on video lol x
