Had an amazing 4 days.
Hi everyone, well after the sadness of last week we got back from DLP last night and we had a brilliant time.
The weather was lovely, no rain at all, it was quite mild ( no need for all the thermals I had packed!) and the character interaction was brilliant. We stayed in the Cheyenne hotel and the room was clean, warm and the staff were very helpful. We would definately stay there again. Extra magic hours were desserted and even though it got busier than I'd expected for this time of the year the park still seemed quiet, the longest queue was 50 mins for Crushes Coaster. We went to Cafe Mickey on St Patricks Day for approx 5.45pm ( no reservation ) and were seated straight away, but after 6pm there was a queue right out the door. The characters here were excellent ( Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, EEyore, Smee, Captain Hook, Stitch, Tigger, Goofy and Chip and Dale.) We also went to Annettes and the Cable Car Bakery both of which were delicious and worth the money. Our daughter, Rebecca, was picked out by Stitch at the start of the Stitch Live show and she tells everyone now that she is his best friend. I was surprised that she spoke out so well as she is only 4 but she was brilliant ( her brother had to tell her we were from Grantham but apart from that she loved it). The St Patricks day fireworks were very good and there was a brilliant atmosphere in the parks. We experienced no problems with smoking or with people pushing/shoving. I was quite emotional on leaving the park as not sure when we'll return. My husband definately doesn't get the Disney magic as much as I do and so my hopes for a trip to Florida are a VERY distant dream Better go and sort the kids out for school today, we're all tired but looking forward to boring all our friends with our adventures. Not jealous of Rebecca at all, oh no...
I love Stitch and would love to get picked out by him in Stitch Live!
