:) Anyone grab a bargain in the sales?

Had a quick visit to Glasgow yesterday and came back empty handed (unusual for me!) but didnt see anything worth buying, anyone got a great buy?

DS2 went to Glasgow yesterday as he loves shopping but only came home with a poster. He saw a top he liked in USC but they only had x large. He rarely comes home empty handed either.

nabbed a couple of pairs of Fitflops at half price in the Boots sale online, just pondering whether a visit to the real shops this afternoon is a good idea

dd got kurt gieger shoes half price in the metro centre yesterday, wore them last night and is now moaning about her feet- apparently wearing ridiculously high open shoes with a huge platfom isn't a good idea in snow- well theres a surprise !

just come back from the sales. Got some birthday presents for next year in the Next sale. A few tops and a jacket, but nothing to get to excited about. Had to come home as it started to snow quite heavily and was losing the excitement of shopping very quickly. Hope others got some good deals.

Same here, the tables have turned as it's boyfriend that wants to go shopping to get a pair of boots he's seen. I, on the other hand, would rather avoid them like the plague until January!

Maybe it's a bit too busy at first. The fact there are people queueing and going early will probably mean that they snatch the best stuff first. But most stores will re-stock afterwards.

I've just got a pair of Mantaray denim shorts for £6.75 reduced from £25.

Currently sitting in Caffe Neeo in Chester watching the people queue outside Jack
Wills in the rain!

I braved the next sale this morning after not getting a VIP slot and was so glad i did.

Me and the OH had our eyes on a sideboard a while ago but with the wedding/honeymoon £199 was a lot to spend...i knew the range hadnt been discontinued so wouldnt be in the sale... can you image my surprise when we went to the sale and the Display model had been reduced to £99! we were chuffed. I also got a beautiful Duvet set for our bedroom... £65 down to £30. Also bought Xmas decorations and wrapping for next year, well worth getting up at silly o'clock.
