Amazon have these coloured ones for just £1 each!

Ticket holders are separate - I think £1.65 each

The only time I found I needed them were for the FOTL passes for universal and at extra magic hours. If you are not staying on site at Disney or universal I don't think you will need one if you are not pin trading.

Yes you could get one for all your tickets - are you staying on site? For us as soon as we are through the turnstiles our tickets are put away in a safe place because you do not need them for the rest of the day and there is a chance that lanyards can break or be lost. The only time you will need them is for Extra Magic Hours or for FOTL at universal.

One will do you for the two parks. Just change your tickets out of it when you return to your hotel. As another posted mentioned stick it away when you get through the turnstiles.
