How do you manage to stay away for Shopping & Swimming on your first night - I'm just ready to drop when I get to the Villa! Any tips?!?

The birthday cakes from Publix are fab!

Looks Fantastic.

"Tues 3rd Clearwater Beach during day and then to Tropicana Stadium,Tampa to watch baseball game Tampa vs NYY."

This looks awesome. I would love one day to see the Yankees. We were in Orlando when the World Series was on last year, it was brilliant to see how the Americians soooo loved their sports.

Also agree the birthday cakes from Publix are great, they are massive and seem to stay fresh for days. It was a great surprise to get one for my birthday last year, maybe again this year.

Yorkie, luckily we should be there mid afternoon and we know the exact location of the villa [within a few hundred yards anyway, lol].
Just up the road from the villa is a gas station/minimart that sells everything, even does a decent pizza. Will just pop in there to pick up stuff for breakfast and then will do a proper shop the following morning.
Must admit to being very tired after the flight but the adrenlin just seems to keep us going.

Kevin, tickets for the game at Tampa were booked the first day they came out.Suzie is the main baseball fan and she loves the Yankees.I actually woke Suzie at 2am just to tell her the good news.
Myself and Suzie where over in Florida in Nov 2001 when NYY were playing Arizona Diamondbacks in the WS.Sat in the bar at the Black Angus near Maingate the game was on the bigscreen, loads of Americans watching, and who did I cheer for?,Arizona.
Found out after only a short time that the bar was full of Yankee fans from New York, lol
