Sheraton at Fisherman's Wharf - SF

Does anyone have first hand knowledge of whether or not the hotel has refurbishment/renovations going on between now and October?
Have just about settled on this hotel - but read somewhere that they were starting/or taking place now. Dont really want to be in the middle of that one when on hols

Thanks

Elaine

Stayed at the Sheraton about five years ago and it is a nice hotel but the rooms at the back overlook a bus depot and in the morning it can be very noisy... this may have all changed now though... copy and paste the link for reviews , there are a few mentions of building work.

We are in SF in three weeks staying at Holiday inn express at fishermans wharf.

Also stayed at the Raddison right opposite pier 39 which was a great location.

Have a great time.

I've booked to stay end of July this year and had a letter from Virgin saying that outside renovations were taking place until September and the front of the hote had lots of scaffolding but that all facilities would still be operational and guests would be allocated rooms away from any work. Hopes this helps.
