Disneyland Paris

Me and my DS are going to Disneyland Paris with my sister and her DD next year for 4 days.

I have been to Walt Disney World in Florida, last time was May gone for 2 weeks. So I am not sure what DLP will be like anybody been?

We would not be able to afford to go to WDW for a week or even 2, although it would be great.

I am very positive that DLP will be very good especially for the 2 kids who will only be 2 1/2 at the time

Can anybody recommend DLP? or saving up for a very long time to go to WDW

Hi MinnieSues.

I've just posted elsewhere about my recent experience at DLP. I feel it's probably worth a trip. If you've not been to WDW then you and yours will probably love it. I probably spent too much time comparing it with WDW so was picking faults, probably unfairly. That said I think you'll struggle to fill 4 days in DLP. I would strongly recommend you spend a day in Paris itself therefore as the city is one of the most beautiful I've been to.

Be warned though. Paris and DLP are VERY expensive compared to WDW and the USA in general!

We love DLP for a short break, and with 2 very young childrn you won't have any problems filling your days.
Do you know where you want to stay as most of the hotels have swimming pools. So that is something else to do with them. If you stay at Davey Crocketts there is also a petting farm and bike trails.
Although on balance it is quite expensive there are also cheap places to eat like McDonalds in the Disney village. You can also get hot dogs when you are walking around the park. If you just want a quick fix.

With small children I wouldn't bother going in to Paris as they will probably get bored from experiance, of a wasted metro ticket lol.

Obviously it would be better to go to WDW but at the age they are they won't no the difference it just you adults that might have the problem ajusting.

Hope this helps

Your kids will love DLPN I'm sure.

We've just come back from our 5th visit to DLp and were there for 5 days so I don't agree with Big dog that you would struggle to fill 4 days!

We choose Davy Crockett Ranch for the space & facilities but you do need a car. I agree with Lindylou to choose an hotel with a pool. Provided of course your kids enjoy swimming.

Again I wouldn't take small children to Paris unless you are desparate to go. In my experience it 's much nicer without them!

I love it! Not as much to do there as WDW thats why its best to only go for a few nights, it can work out just as expensive - esp spends. I prefer WDW but DLP is fab for a long weekend and I'm sure the kids will love it for a quick disney fix.
Why don't you compare some prices with DLP and WDW and budget between them...depends on how much you want to spend.
