Hotels at Gatwick Airport

Can anyone recommend a nice hotel to stay at close to Gatwick airport for a family of 4, with transport.

Gatwick Hilton - thumbs up for me to. Booked thru' Holiday Extras

We stayed at the Thistle Hotel, Gatwick and we booked it through Holiday Extras hotel and room for 2 adults was £107 (from Bournemouth).
The hotel was clean and not too far away from Gatwick and there was a free shuttle bus.

Gatwick Hilton here too.

Its so close you don't need any transport to get to the airport. Its easily walkable and its a covered walkway. We parked the car in the hotel carpark for the duration of the holiday.

It took us 5 hours non stop...it was ok going down, but coming back was a nightmare! especially as the police decided to close the motorway and diverted us...we didnt have a clue where we were going.
I think it took us 8-9 hours..not very good after the long flight, its was a good job we both drive!
Saying that though we didn't like having to wait for the connecting flight back to NCL, too long... so driving for us everytime!
