We're 27 and 28 and stayed at the Venetian, I also stayed at the MGM for a stag do. Would recommend both highly.

Most places in Vegas cater for everyone, the Venetian is quite upmarket, but then still has one of the best bars/clubs in vegas so they cover all the bases.

If you are really into the whole 'Vegas' scene, and want to party then you should consider the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, or The Palms, both of these hotels are just off the Strip, but they are geared towards the early to mid twenties crowds.

Agree with ukdiva, these are geared towards the younger, but they are both off strip hotels and this might influence your decision.

If you want to go really high end then you have 2 choices, the Four Seasons or The Hotel at the Mandalay Bay. There is also the Bellagio or the Venetian for deluxe service, or you have the Luxor which is a more affordable choice for most people. Whatever you do, do not stay at the Circus Circus!

I'm set on Paris for my next trip!

It's pretty centre on the strip.

The Luxor looked really nice, we stayed at Circus Circus last year and I wouldn't recommend it as it was very dated and over run with kids running riot whilst their parents were playing the machines, but I have to say that the rooms were very clean as were the sheets which is ideal if you just want a base.
Love Rio
