Live Report: 3wks For 4: Day 1 - Day Before

The morning was spent anxiously waiting for 11:15 to come round. I have been seriously panicking about being split up all over the plane this trip, so we chose our seats 90 days before and anxiously await online check in ...

Eventually, after one false start, we see this screen!

And when I have these four babies in my hand I breathe a sigh of relief ... maybe now I can start to relax a little!

We popped round to my mum's for what has become our traditional goodbye lunch ... Fish finger sandwiches!

And then by half three the car was loaded up and we were on our way! We hit some traffic near the dart ford crossing and eventually rolled in to the Premier Inn South at 5:10!

We checked in to our family room. Freddie was disappointed to find he had a proper bed and not a mattress on the floor like he's had before!

We were all hungry so walked next door to the restaurant for dinner. Natasha and Dave had garlic bread and fish and chips - "insipid" and "average", Freddie (already a bit anxious about the flight I think) had a burger - "meh" and I had Stilton and peppercorn mushrooms "nicely spicy" and a chicken and chorizo dish -"tasty". For dessert I had Eton mess cheesecake - "fresh", Dave had 3 different ice creams - "beeyoodiful", and Natasha had golden syrup sponge -"good". With five soft drinks, the bill came to around £65. Good value.

Then back to the room where we began the traditional Great Tetris Showdown and then tuck down for an early night.

Tomorrow: 4 fly to Orlando!
