The Brown Derby - Day 1 Walmart, Golden Corral And Animal Kingdom

Saturday 17th August 2013

Wide awake at just after 4am so we head out to Walmart for a few supplies. The shop is pretty empty and we stock up on Paydays and Twizzlers and other essentials.

Then onto Golden Corral for breakfast.

As the chocolate fountain is flowing Lucy decides marshmallows in chocolate are a good breakfast option.

This is our first visit to GC and we found it great value and an excellent selection.

After dropping the shopping off we head to our usual day 1 park, Animal Kingdom. We always make this our first park but we have no idea why.

Who do we bump in to looking as glamorous as a vine can look, the one and only Divine.

First stop is the Boneyard which the kids love. Then onto Flights of Wonder.

We then bump into Bamboo (Divine's new companion). In the excitement I put my finger over the lens so will try and get a better photo later in the holiday.
Then off to Kilimanjaro Safari.

Lucy has been going on about getting her hair braided so Daddy treats her.

We then head into Dinoland for the Boneyard (again) and Triceratops Spin.

Time for a late lunch at the Flame Tree BBQ. The ribs and chicken combo is my favourite.

Lucy opts for the fruit plate.

Daniel has fries and insists I get a photo for the trippie.

I had the key lime cheesecake and it was very nice.

Then off to my favourite show in WDW. I really recommend seeing it twice, once from a distance and once close up. Close up you can see the actors expressions which makes you appreciate the show even more.
When we came out of the skies were black so to avoid the rain we went back into Nemo for the next show.

The park was closing when we got out of the show so we headed back to POR and grabbed a snack before calling it a day.

I love how pay days and twizzlers are essentials lol, exactly the same as me! Trolley full of sweets and lays are essential
