The Brown Derby - Day 2 Magic Kingdom And Downtown Disney

The kids voted for MK today and as this is the last day for Jungle Cruise before a 6 week refurb we head there first.

We then ride POTC and the flying carpets before heading over to Be Our Guest for lunch.

We wait maybe 15 minutes to get in (bearing in mind this is about 11am).

The dining rooms are amazing as is the process of getting your food.

I had the seared tuna salad. It was delicious and fab value for the QSDP.

Andy had the croque Monsieur which he enjoyed thoroughly.

Daniel has turkey sandwiches and sweet potato wedges and peach sauce.

Lucy had pork, sweet potato mash and green beans.

Lemon meringue cupcake and chocolate cupcake to follow.

Can't recommend this place for lunch more highly. It was a real treat to eat here the food and setting were amazing.

Then we get a few rides under our belts:

- Peter Pan
- Philharmagic
- Little Mermaid Voyage Under The Sea
- Winnie The Pooh

We pass the "Tangled Toilets" and head for Main Street to watch the parade.

We position ourselves at the start of the parade route. DH times it and it lasts just 5 minutes which is a little disappointing. It could really do with a few more floats but the kids still loved it especially when the fairy godmother showered them with confetti.

We leave after the parade for a quick swim back at POR.
We then catch the boat for an evening at DTD.
We head to Wolfgang Puck Express in the marketplace. I had the oven baked salmon (apologies but I started to tuck in and then remembered the photo).
Again another delicious meal on the QSDP.

We had a quick look around the shops but then the heavens opened. The boat back to POR was suspended due to lightening so we had to catch the bus back.
