Are you a techy and love all things in Epcot or not a techy and still love all the attractions, or could you take it or leave it.

What are your thoughts on Epcot,
1. what do you like best.
2. what dont you like.
3. Which world showcase country most appeals to you and why.

Loved Epcot

1. what do you like best = Tapestry of Dreams & IllumiNations
2. what dont you like = some of the rides are tacky, like Maelstrom and the "so called" humour in the ride where the seats split apart
3. Which world showcase country most appeals to you and why = Japan - not sure, just liked the themeing etc

We really enjoyed it, from the first glimpse of the Golf Ball and the ride inside (Spaceship Earth) to see the Earth from the top, when the music played I was hooked. Could have spent a fortune in MouseGear, adored Honey I Shrunk the Audience and the spouting water jets outside it, the first proper glimpse of the lake at World Showcase was awe inspiring. Test Track - brilliant. The kids making their Dream Catcher masks. I would have liked to have had more time just browsing in the shops etc, but with children that's just not possible. And we missed the Beaver Tails, shame. Off Kilter were great.
And then, to top it all - the parade - THE PARADE . . changed me forever . . the emotions were truly unbelievable, I've got to go back one day just to see this and the fireworks - IllumiNations - never seen anything quite like this before.
Epcot is a fantastic place - and that's what I like about Orlando in general; all the Theme Parks are SO different to each other.

Being a Techy, I love Innoventions and have seen a great improvement in this area in the last few year. It's now much more kid friendly.

I personally cant stand the world showcase, having done it so many times.

Just as a bit of fun. Go into ICE STATION (Where you can get free drink samples from all over the world) and try the ITALIAN drink. "Paint Stripper"

I love it all. It's the only park we ALWAYS visit.

I love Spaceship Earth

I love the musical fountain (could watch that all day and it keeps you cool)

I detest the Ice Station (how can people drink that muck!!!!!&#33.

The Nestle building is brilliant and the Lion King film there is one of my favourites.

Sorry folks you can keep your Magic Kingdom!

I love Epcot...

I think that my favourites are Tapestry of Dreams/Nations and of course Reflections.

Also, love doing Test Track in the dark at night - wickkkkeeeddd.

Ice Station Cool is brilliant as well, just love the Japanese Vegibura (sp).

What I don't like is people smoking outside of the smoking areas - sorry just a bug bear of mine.

Fav world - Mexico, just like the gentle ride.

Epcot gets a big thumbs up from this family:

Loved: Test Track, Illuminations, Parades.

Disliked: Spaceship Earth - over rated/boring

Favourite country: Mexico

It would be my 3rd favourite Disney park but I certainly couldn't leave it out. Love Spaceship Earth & Honey I shrunk the audience, dislike Figment, not sure about favourite country

love it, love it, love it...

not sure if it's my favorite,  or Magic Kingdom - I can't imagine not visiting both parks many times on a trip.

1. what do you like best.
Illuminations,  from the lakeside tables at Rose and Crown was just amazing,  even better than the cruise we did, although that could be because we did it before the cruise.  It was just the most magical experience.
2. what dont you like.
Not that fussed on Innoventions
3. Which world showcase country most appeals to you and why.
not sure if I can pick just one.  This year we discovered Mexico, somehow we passed it by last year,  and I really liked that. Katie loved that little ride,  and I liked the atmosphere and how it felt like twilight all day. Also loved Japan and the meal we ate in the Tappanyaki,  I have very fond memories of the Hofbrauhaus in Germany from when I was there in high school,  but my all time favorite memory is the Rose and Crown for Illuminatoins - we just had such a brilliant evening.

I don't understand people who say 'Epcot is boring'  to me it is brilliant - I love Future World,  those are my kind of rides,  sit in a little car and get shown interesting things,  I'd much rather do that then drop 10 floors in Tower of Terror.  We really like Spaceship Earth,  and the new version of Imagination with Figment is really good too.   We like to spend an afternoon in FW,  it seems that most people visit in the morning,  so it is always really quiet in the afternoon,  other than Test Track we've never really seen a line in Epcot.  Another reason I love it.
