Hi,
This forum is intended for those with or are involved with people that have special needs/requirements or have disabilities associated with holidays to Disney and Orlando. There are many dedicated Special Needs sites and forums on the internet and this forum is not intended as a substitute for those specialist forums. This forum is here to provide somewhere for those members that require it, to help and share experiences and tips for those with special needs, requirements and disabilities when visiting Orlando and the Various Parks that are covered by this site. I hope this forum will be used and I hope it provides a useful resource. Regards Stu

What a fantastic idea DIBB TEAM. There seems to be a high amount of members here with 'special' children.

Thanks Stu, it was Lyn (loadsapixiedust) that first contacted you. I think this is a brilliant idea

Thankyou Stu! I really think the Dibb needs this forum for our 'special' Dibb members and their questions. Can we maybe suggest some topics for stickies?

It's probably best not to have too many stuck posts, from experience I find stuck posts tend to get overlooked if there are too many of them.

I have posted some threads with links to 'official' special needs info for each park feel free to also add any useful info from your own experience.

Thanks Stu and Lyn
This is a great idea and will be so much help for us as we have a 4 year old daughter who has mobility problems and uses a wheelchair. Thankyou to everyone who takes the time to reply and pass on tips and information. ali |

I also would like to say thank you for this forum.
I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Arthralgia, plus a few other conditions, so this forum will be great. I often travel to Orlando with my parents, and my Dad has mobility problems (uses a wheelchair), so adults with special needs will be able to use this forum as well as those with children. Thanks again. Jolene Edited at 05:27 PM. |
