Virgin - Universal Ticket Offer

Virgin have an offer on at the moment for 2 weeks for the price of 1.

virginholidays/extr...ts_prices.aspx

Am I taking this offer too literally and looking at the one weeks prices for 2 weeks ie we are going in October 2006 so am pricing this up as 4 adult tickets @ £69 each.

I've rang Virgin to add this on but they are saying that it would be 4 x £75.

Surely that means the offer is '2nd week for £6.00).

Edited to add Why would 2 weeks(for the price of 1) in October be £75 and 2 weeks (full price) in January 2007 to April 2007be £67 when the tickets need to be redeemed at Universal by 31st December 2006. I'm waffling now aren't I? lol

I know it's not a lot of money but it's just the principle of it!

Go on then... tell me I'm being thick

Floridatix and some other companies are doing the same offer - 2 weeks for £68. Attraction tickets direct are doing it for £72. (1 week and 2 week tickets are the same price).

I would just buy annual power passes from Universal direct, normally about $119 which is £64 and you have access to both parks all year round with the odd blackout day.

This is OK but is no good if you are going in the summer as all weekdays from 26th June to 4th August are blackout days (also Easter and Christmas). The $119 is also ex-tax.
