GMC Acadia or similar with Sixt - what did you get

Hi All,

I know there has been much debate about Sixt, but their quote for 3 weeks was just too good so have decided to take the plunge.

My question is has anyone recently hired the GMC Acadia, Hyundai Santa Fe, Volvo XC70, Chevrolet Traverse - group SFAR from Sixt and if so what was available.

I know about the fleet list, but we all know that what they list in the fleet list is usually not what they actually have or in Sixt's case what your given.

When I booked initially the Ford Explorer was part of the SFAR group alas no more

I was offered a few things in LA but wanted the GMC Arcadia. Asked them to find one and bring one along for me, which they did in 20 mins or so.
If it's busy in the hotel on the ground floor it might be worth going up in the lift to the roof level check-in desks as they were quicker for us last October

Thanks for the update adlufc, what condition was the GMC in when you picked it up as there has been a lot of talk on the forum about the cars being old and dirty.

Personally I'm hoping for a GMC Acadia as they no longer offer the Ford Explorer :-(
