Universal Studios' venerable Kongfrontation, one of the original rides when the park opened 12 years ago, will frighten its last tourists on Sept. 8.

The six-story tall soundstage that has been the home for the giant animatronic King Kong will be vacated to make way for what Universal officials describe as a "new mega-attraction" that they haven't disclosed.

I was never too keen on this ride anyway...

By the way, I don't know whether anybody has already heard this, but a rumour is going around that Back To The Future, the ride in Universal Studios, is going to be transformed into a rollercoaster! ,
I don't know whether this is true or not - It's just a rumour that I read on one of the websites I was looking at earlier... ,

Anyway, I wonder what will be replacing Kongfrontation...

Somehow, I don't think there will be a rollercoaster there - Maybe a restaurant or a stage show, or something like that  .
