Brother's Dawn 'on hunger strike'

Former Big Brother contestant Dawn Blake has said she is going on hunger strike until the show's producers hand over tapes of her time in the house.

Dawn, 38, said in a statement she had been kept in the house against her will, and wants unedited footage from the programme to support her claims.

I read that on digital spy earlier. Big Brother only have to give up the tapes if there are any legal proceedings, so she's got no chance. She better start planning her funeral! *lol*

It says she cant afford legal fees and im sure on the contract she signed they are covered anyway

She seemed like a sensible person so didnt she realise that BB would edit the show how they thought would get more ratings? and because of that anyone going in risks coming across in an incorrect or damaging light?

I think the hunger strike is stupid, but there is something odd about the whole Dawn thing.

Shabaz asks to leave, so they open the door and let him go,

Dawn asks to leave, so they lock her in for 3 days, then accuse her of cheating and kick her out, then

George asks to leave, and they open the door and off he goes.

Why did they make Dawn wait so long? Can only be because Shabaz had just left and they didn't want another housemate leaving so soon. She was sat with her coat on for 2 days, it was pretty obvious she was going to leave. It's like telling someone you've sacked them after they've already quit.

They didn't keep her in for three days. She asked to leave around dinner time after she got the 'message' from BB from her sister, they said think about it and come back to us in the morning, the same as they said to George. Meanwhile, whilst this was happening, BB found out that the message was phoney and kicked her out anyway the following day at lunch-time. So it wasn't even 24 hours that she was so-called 'imprisoned'. I think her problem is no-one wants to know her so she's trying to create some media hype herself. I used to like Dawn, but now i think just let the silly cow get on with it, starve to death if that's what she wants to do!

The thing I find amazing is during the program she wouldnt shower as she teaches children and didnt want to upset or set wrong example... yet here she is saying she will go on hunger strike. Now is that a better example to set to children~?

Surely it is a worse example to show kids that it's ok to be a dirty, smelly person than it is to be seen taking a shower.
