Noticed there are no recent reviews of this resort
Stayed for 10 days, room clean but in need of refurbishing which will happen next year. Staff helpful and friendly.
Resort was quiet despite being fully booked.
Some issues with the drinks dispensers in the food court, ran out regularly and hot chocolate machine only worked a few days whilst we were there.
Didn’t eat at the resort but did pick up a grab and go sandwich which was really good.
Found the buses to be fairly reliable and only shared once with other resorts and this was in middle of the day. Bus screens weren’t working for part of stay. Longest wait was for a HS bus in EMH day, the queue was 3 buses long.

Better late than never lol. . . Thought I would add our experience of all star sports. When we could do online checkin we requested a high floor in hoops after dibb advice and on checkin at resort admit to being a bit disappointed we were allocated a ground floor in touchdown. . . Panic averted on reaching our room we were on the back end on the touchdown court opposite the very rarely used children's play park, turned out to be a fantastic location near to everything but not near enough for it to be an issue if that makes sense? The room itself was fine for our needs being a value resort it was only basic but it had everything we needed for our stay and was always clean and tidy thanks to mouse keeping. . . To be fair it was only somewhere to sleep and store our belongings as we were out and about all day everyday and as soon as our heads hit the pillow we were out for the count.
We were only a minutes walk to the pool, the main surfs up one and the main building with reception, food court, games room, shop and transportation.
The food court was very good as long as we avoided peak times when it was rammed but all stars musics food hall was having a refurb and a few people were coming from there too, we always went for breakfast early around 7.30-8am and had no trouble getting what we wanted or a table. . . No dining plan for us with it being a value resort which we were worried about on our first day but soon calmed down when we realised it was far cheaper to eat there than we thought lol. . . We bought the refillable mugs on arrival and these were great and I bet within a couple of days these had paid for themselves, we were do near to food court it was easy to go and refill regularly. Evening meals we usually ate around 5pm like when we are at home and there were only Brits in there lol most Mexicans, Americans tended to eat a lot later do again easy to get served and a seat.
Reception staff were great and helpful if we needed anything. Didn't really use the games arcade so can't comment on that.
Transportation was very good we thought, I'd seen quite a few threads before going about all star transport bring a bit pants but far from it in our opinion, all star sports is served first our of the three all star resorts when a bus is shared this was usually only to dtd or on way back from parks at quiet times. In a morning the bus left from sports and went straight to whichever park you were going too, we very rarely had to wait long for a bus and if ever a certain park had a longer queue they radioed for more buses and were there very quick.
McDonald's to my kids delight was only less than ten minutes walk away, we didn't hire a car with only staying onsite. We were a bit wary of how the walk would be but it was great all footpaths along the route and crossings for the crossroads which was a bit hairy but as long as you follow the instructions of when to cross fine and perfectly safe.
We would definately stay again x

Hello

My boyfriend and i stayed for 3 weeks at Disneys All star Sports. It was brilliant and I just can't imagine staying off site again. It was clean and the grounds were spotless. Mousekeeper cleaned the room every day. Cannot say a bad word about this hotel!

We did have a car so we could go anywhere. We did eat mostly off site so the car made us able to do that. But... we also used the Disney transport on a night. It was brill just hopping on the bus when you are tired from doing a park all day but want to go to a park on a night. It was especially good when going to Downtown Disney as you dont have to spend ages looking for a space you just hopped off the bus :-) the bast part was going to MK no trams and monorails you get straight to the gates :-)

I've stayed at All-Star Sports 3 times and am due to go back this year(Sept 2014). This is great for people on a buget - of which I am one! It's clean, the beds are nice, has all the things you need in a hotel room. I like all the choice you have at the food court. Some people think the distance between the rooms and the food court/buses is to long but I have no problem walking in the Florida sunshine :) I mainly stay here for the buses, would love to stay at the other All Stars but Sports gets the buses first (All-Stars share a bus) which means you nearly always have a seat. I've also stayed in Pop Century which was just as nice but even though it has it's own bus service, I didn't feel it was as good as sports. The sports themeing makes for some great photos and I have no issues with the pools. At the times of year I've been, we always seem to have the pool to ourselves :) Unless I win the lottery this will always be the choice I make when picking a Disney hotel.

We stayed here for 14 nights and had a great time. We stayed in the Touchdown area of this resort and were right next to the Food Court and Bus stop.

The Food Court had a great variety of food and they had everything we needed. Only downside was that the A/C was reset on one day which made the room a sauna but that would be the only snag.

Would recommend this for people on a budget.

Disappointed with this hotel, always stay at the Caribbean Beach but due to a mix up we couldn't get in. The rooms are very basic, no modesty curtain, miles to walk for transport but it was clean. I know it a class lower than the Caribbean Beach and there was nothing really wrong but just dissapointed with the standard that's all.

Having stayed at All Star Music last May, we expected this hotel to be pretty much the same, which it was, but obviously with different theming. It seemed much quieter at this resort, but that could have been down to the time of year. Mousekeeping was not that great- e.g. seeming to give the sink just a quick wipe rather than a proper clean and a bit stingy on how much toilet roll they left!
Food court was fine, but expensive for what you get, but its Diseny so didn't expect it to be cheap. Plenty of parking, with the parking set out with designated areas based on which floor of each building you stay in.
Overall, loved the hotel, being able to stay onsite relatively cheaply, and getting the perks like Extra Magic Hours.

lovely hotel, we were given a very warm welcome upon arrival, we stayed in the football pitch side which was block 10, in the middle floor and on the end right beside the small kids pool in the baseball section. the drink refill mugs are a must do! for $13.50 each you can refill as much as you want for the duration of your stay. the pizza was nice in the food court. the food market there is very very minimum, and very very pricey but the disney gift shop sell chocolate, cookies etc. we never took disney transport but there was always buses driving around the resort. room cleaned daily but they never put the duster around the whole time we were there?!

Stayed for 10 days in January/February 2010. The hotel is bright and fun. Room was spacious enough for us (2 adults) and very clean. The hotel was very busy with teams from a dance and cheer competition and the pools were busy and noisy but they were all very friendly. The bus service was excellent with Sports being the first pick up and drop off of the all star chain when buses are shared. Ate at the food court a few times and found the food to be pretty good and always able to get a table. We stayed in the surfs up section which i believe is preferred even though we didn't pay extra for a preferred room. Room was really close to the mail pool and lobby/food court as well as the bus stops for the parks. Would definitely stay again.

This was our 1st disney trip and the hotel diddnt dissapoint! We were in hoops2 on the 3rd floor and facing the hoops... The rooms were plenty big enough and there were 5 of us and that was including the cotbed. The beds were smaller than I thought but we have a kingsize at home so maybe thats why. We diddnt have any animals but the maid had fun with the teddies which was cute, the room was clean but I dont think she cleaned it properly as we diddnt know we had a tv remote for 2 days untill I found it on the floor... We did see groups of kids but they were all friendly and we never saw or heard any trouble from them. All in all we would stay again ( but we cant fit in now) an enjoyable hotel! Have to agree about the food it tastes like the counter service food in the parks!

This was our first on site experience at WDW and we loved it! There was only myself (19) and my boyfriend (21). The room was basic but suited us down to the ground. We only really slept and got washed in the room, any other time we were at a park or around the pool. We were in Hoops Hotel building which was less that 5 mins walk to the main building. The food court was a good size and never got that busy. We visited the arcade a few times as it wasn't very busy. We never had any problems with the buses and never had to share a bus with the rest of the All Star resorts. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would go back to this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay here as a party of 6 with 3 rooms. Really friendly staff and very clean. It's nothing special but its an excellent base camp for your stay in WDW. We had previously stayed in the All Star Music and picked the Sports as this is the first stop for the free bus services to the parks. As previously mentioned the buses do get busy.

I'd recommend the room service button on the phone and DEFFO order the Buffalo Wings! Plus if you fancy a little change from what the hotel has to offer you can literally walk to the McDonalds down the road. :-)

It's a standard 6/7 out of 10 hotel and I don't mean that in a bad way. We've stayed in the All Star Music and All Star Sports and I'd stay there again tomorrow. I'd recommend it to anyone.

My kids loved this hotel. Lovely room, bigger than I anticipated following some reviews I had read. It was a bit noisy late at night though. Really clean, in room and generally on the resort. Fantastic pool and shop. However, the food was very disappointing, if you haven't got a car and get back to your hotel after an exhausting day at a theme park, too tired to venture onto Disney transport for up to an hour to go eat somewhere else, you are stuck for decent food (unless you like hot dogs every night). Ordered a pizza delivered to the room, 1 pizza, two beers and some chicken wings cost nearly £30, which was very steep. I would stay again but only if I had a car, kids would absolutely insist on staying again, and I suppose if the kids are happy, it makes life easier! Good value for money compared to the other disney hotels.

We have just stayed in this Hotel, having never stayed on site before. We found it fairly busy with fairly large groups of teenage sports teams from schools staying there who could get noisy at times, also throwing chairs in the pool. The room was acceptable for four , but we wouldnt stay with our two kids in one room again, but that is personal choice. The room was clean but the sheets were only changed once in two weeks. The food court was great for breakfast and for the occasional evening meal but not on a regular basis. It was good staying on site and we did use they Disney trasnport a few times but liked the freedom of our own car. All in all if this was the only hotel we could afford when we want to got back in few years we would stay there again.

I loved this Hotel we were right next to one of the pools and really near the entrance to the food court and main lobby. Plusses ,first ones to picked up on the buses, not far to walk around the resort unlike some moderate resorts, lively atmosphere, you dont have to worry about driving. Minuses ,quite a few people around , buses do fill up, fast food.
