A little after our stay to review, but we enjoyed our stay at The Beach Club, having previously always stayed at OKW. Arrival and check in was fine, did seem odd parking a distance away from the hotel, compared to parking virtually outside our accommodation when staying at OKW, but the walk was short and in the evening was nice to see the hotel lit up.

It was great being able to walk to Epcot, The Boardwalk and pick up the Skyliner to Hollywood studios, massive benefit compared to always needing to use transport or car when staying at OKW. When we did use the buses, it was always busy and this was the down side (we were aware of this before going) but still got a bit frustrating with people not respecting those ahead of them at the stop.

Room was fine, nice size bathroom, we were on the ground level and so could walk out of our room to the pool area, which was nice. The lobby and reception area were lovely, especially with the Christmas decorations up and the Gingerbread House with Train appeared later in our stay. It wasnt really pool weather during our stay, so we never got to make use of the amazing pool area, that is another big selling point of the hotel

I would stay at The Beach club again, but mainly for the access to Epcot, Boardwalk and Hollywood Studios, rather than the amenities or facilities of the hotel.

'Welcome Home' - when the CMs say this as you arrive you know you're somewhere special. Everything about this resort is superb, from the lobby to Stormalong Bay - the Beach Clubs own sand bottom water park. There's also a quiet pool and hot tub, and volleyball court.

As BC and YC are connected, they share facilities, so there are 3 TS restaurants, 1 Signature, 3 CS areas and 2 lounges (bars). There are 2 shops and a hairdressers. There's a gym and a games room. Movies are shown on the beach at night. Countless restaurants are within walking distance.

The connections to the parks and other resorts is the best on site I feel - Epcot, HS and the Boardwalk a walk or boatride away; MK a bus ride or walk to Epcot and take the monorail; AK a busride; DTD and the waterparks a busride. Swan and Dolphin hotels are a short walk away, and walk through them and there is Fantasia Gardens golf.

The rooms are light and airy with subtle beach theming and good facilities. The ground floor rooms have small patio areas with table and 2 chairs; the upper level rooms have balconies - some with chairs and some small 'Juliet type'.

We love BC because it feels in the centre of everything and yet still peaceful to come back to.

September '19 Edit - we've now stayed at the Y&BC 8 times in water view, garden view and BCV, and it's still our resort of choice, we've never had a bad stay, (we've had one small problem which we mentioned and were gifted a night at a Deluxe of our choice at any time we choose.)

Just left the Disney Beach Club and cannot fault it, Roma were great, there were four of us in one room, my hubby, me and my two sons who were 18 and 21. Really impressed with the size of the rooms, two sinks which made a huge difference. Hotel itself is clean and friendly and the location is fantastic.the only negative I could give the hotel is the bus service as it stops at the yacht club first so always last on, so most of the time no seats and always last off, apart from that would highly recommend.

Had the chance to stay at Beach Club in November/December 2018 for 2 weeks. We were due to stay at OKW but was upgraded to Beach Club when our room type was no longer available!

The short walk to Epcot was the major selling point of this resort! Being able to exit our room and walk 5-10 mins and we would be at International Gateway! We could also hop on the boat and be at Hollywood Studios in around 10 mins. We enjoyed walking over to the Boardwalk Resort to grab food and appreciate all the delicious ice cream!

We really loved the rooms at this resort and there was plenty of space for 4 adults. The pull down sofa bed was also very comfy and it was nice to sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by! We liked the QS option but it did always feel cramped even with a handful of people in it! The gift shop was small and didn't have much merchandise.

We didn't get a chance to use the pool so can't comment on this but it did look amazing! The only downside of this resort I found was the scent of the lobby, we would often walk through and not enjoy the smell but other than this we really enjoyed the resort. I probably wouldn't choose this resort again and would instead go for the Yacht Club next door but if you're wanting to stay at Beach Club I would suggest giving it a go!

Stayed in the DVC wing. A well located hotel with amazing pool area. I was bit under whelmed by the theming (thought it a bit dull), and it could do with a good quick service. Staff were lovely and bus service ran well. We enjoyed our stay but I can’t honestly say it was full of Disney magic.

Absolutely beautiful.the room was plenty big enough for 5 of us .the pool was the best on property but the proximity to Epcot was the best part .waking up and strolling to Epcot in 10 minutes was wonderful

This was our first stay in a Disney Hotel and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was fantastic with lots of activities throughout the day. However, the best thing about this hotel is its proximity to Epcot, Boardwalk and Hollywood Studios. Epcot and Boardwalk are a short stroll away and Hollywood Studios is a lovely boat ride away. The other parks can easily be accessed via the onsite buses, which pick up outside the hotel.
I loved every second of our stay!

Location location location! This is a great hotel we had a garden view room far right side of the building. Didn't realise until the 3rd night we could see Epcot fireworks from our balcony. Location is amazing 5 mins walk to Epcot 15mins on boat or 25 mins walk to HS. Nice to walk around the boardwalk in the evening. You are walking distance from restaurants in the hotels around the boardwalk, restaurants on the boardwalk and Epcots numerous restaurants and dining. I prefer the beach club slightly over YACHT CLUB for 2 main reasons 1) you have a shop/food counter for refills and breakfast (YACHT clubs equivalent is a clothes shop) and 2) it is slightly closer to epcot (although we are literally talking about 1-2 mins walk nothing major).
So the ability to walk/boat to two of the parks and just bus to the others makes this my absolute favourite hotel on property.

Stayed here for 2 nights as a treat. Loved the proximity to Epcot and HS. We had a room facing Epcot so could sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks.
Room was bright and airy. Sink area was spacious with plenty of lighting. Toilet/bath combo was tight causing me to hit my knee on the toilet during the night. Bed super soft, too soft of me and also very high had to climb into bed.
Pool area was very busy best to go at night, quiet pool peaceful. Overall good hotel but prefer Okw and SSR

A really fantastic hotel! Staff were amazing, the grounds were beautiful and the proximity to Epcot was great. Not as close to Hollywood Studios as I imagined, however it was an easy boat ride. The room was refurbished and it was large and comfortable.

We booked a garden view room and we received a room that looked out onto trees, within 20cm of our balcony, this restricted the light a little, but we didn't spend too much time in the room anyway. Our main issue was our very noisy neighbours - the interconnecting doors are not particularly sound proof! After a phone call down to concierge, we were offered a change of room, to a partial water view. Staff were very accommodating and couldn't have done more.

We loved our stay at The Beach Club, and would stay here again. But for us, the Magic Kingdom resorts have something a little extra that the Epcot resorts don't have: the monorail and proximity to Magic Kingdom!

What a fantastic base for a holiday, I can't imagine many better. As far as the hotel itself goes it is very good, very clean, good service etc, although you will find better. But for a base from which to holiday from (in/around Disney) I doubt you could beat it. It is very dreamy and makes for great memories, from the ambience of the foyer, to eating the gorgeous ice cream at Beaches and Cream. To simply strolling around the lake at night with the Boardwalk area lit up, stopping at the pool bar for a cocktail it really is heavenly.

Our room was at the far right of the hotel, miles from the elevators and lobby (the hotel is bit of a rabbit warren which was a pain), but this meant we were near a stairwell that led straight out onto the bridge to the Boardwalk meaning only a 5min walk there, and only a 2-3min walk to Epcot which meant on a whim you could nip over to Epcot for something to eat or to do a ride which was absolutely superb.

The only bad thing I could say about the hotel would be to avoid the bell services. They do not deliver your luggage immediately, it goes into a holding place first, which is a complete waste of time. If you arrive at a hotel, you arrive with and check-in with your luggage so you want/expect your luggage to be in your room straight away. We had to wait an hour or two for our luggage to eventually arrive and a had to call to remind them twice.

Having stayed at the Yacht and Beach Club we marginally preferred the Yacht Club but probably only because the rooms had just been refitted and I'd tend to book the cheaper of the two. Beach Club decor is a little more tasteful IMHO and it is a slightly shorter walk to EPCOT but there are few major differences between the two. Stormalong Bay pool is very good although not as incredible as you might think before booking (some people do find it a disappointment). The EPCOT location in general is unbeatable if you are wining and dining people.

Love the Beach Club, our favourite resort. The decor and atmosphere is just right for us and it's location cannot be beaten (Epcot and HS are our favourite parks). We've been twice and both occasions had standard rooms but were lucky enough to get full balconies (half the rooms are only juliette balconies). If you happen to be near the back of the Resort (overlooking trees at the back of Epcot) you can exit/enter directly onto the path there and come out just beside the bridge over to the BWI, it's a great shortcut.

We just love the proximity to the parks and the whole Boardwalk area too. There is lots to do there and many places to eat and drink within a short stroll.

The pool, Stormalong Bay, is almost like a small waterpark. For those with younger kids (or weaker swimmers) be aware though that there are some quite deep parts and due to it's size and design, it's impossible to pick one spot where you could sit and keep an eye on little ones the whole time. There is a more 'kiddish' are separated off though, it's over near the Yacht Club side.

We stayed at the Beach Club for 7 nights of our holiday in August 2013.

We had a few problems upon arrival as I had put in two requests, one for a full balcony and another for a daybed. We were delighted to find upon arrival that we had the daybed, but then the receptionist realised that we only had a king bed and not two doubles... no good for a family of four. The receptionist then spent ages on the phone trying to sort this out for us. She eventually found us a room with an extra large balcony (no daybed) and a view of the Swan and Dolphin, not bad for a garden view.

The room was immaculately clean upon arrival and we had no complaints about Mousekeeping.

We had been looking for to trying Stormalong Bay, but unfortunately none of us liked it and thought it was overhyped. It was absolutely packed a lot of the time and probably better for younger children (mine are teens). We did like the quiet pool though.

Location for Epcot is perfect. We did get the boat to HS once, but it took so long that we drove the next time that we went and got there a lot quicker. The boat also serves the Boardwalk and the Swan & Dolphin, so if it's busy you may have to wait for the next boat.

I would stay here again for the location, though it does come at a cost.

We stayed here in a lagoon view room in November 2012. It was a fabulous stay. We loved the location (being massive Epcot fans), the view of the beautiful Boardwalk and the gorgeous decor of the room and the hotel. The entrance lobby has the most amazing smell and atmosphere. The QS options are limited but you are so close to Boardwalk / Epcot it didn't matter. You have Stormalong bay (which is awesome) and B&C right on your doorstep. One of our fave hotels!

We stayed here for 10 nights last July / August for our honeymoon. What a hotel!

Having stayed at Value / Moderate and Deluxe Villa resorts, this to us was a massive step up in quality / location / service etc.

From the moment you step in and are greeted at the front door you know this is a special hotel. Decor and theming is fantastic!

We were originally given a room without a balcony and were asked if this was ok. We asked if there was anything avialable with a balcony, and they gladly switched us to a great room in a great location and with a massive balcony!

Pool area is second to none in WDW.

Lounges / food areas are fantactic, and be sure not to miss the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream!

Yachtsman Steakhouse is another not to be missed!

Location is fantastic. 5 min walk to Epcot. 15-20 min walk to DHS. Just across the lake from the boardwalk! Couldn't ask for any more.

Highly recommended!

We were really pleased with this hotel, we stayed for 13 nights using the Deluxe Dining Plan. (apparently it isnt common for families to stay 2 weeks, they were suprised - I guess this is due to the cost) The hotel was clean, beautifully painted, it was gorgeous.. made the holiday and now I am struggling to match it.. The pool was gorgeous, never crowded, the staff at the shop, the desks, everywhere were really nice.. We ate at Cape May character buffets every few mornings and the staff were kind, interested in the children, I couldnt fault them. The location was brilliant because we could stroll to Epcot, hop on the boat to Hollywood Studios or the bus to everywhere else.. The maid service was spot on daily - with the staff leaving the kids toys laid out beautifully in different places on their beds, it made the holiday.. My only negatives about the whole stay was on one occassion the maids had let the door close and the latch thing got in the way and prevented the door closing.. We returned to find the door ajar, not know what was up - thinking we'd been robbed.. Hubby went ape.. marched off to complain and give them their due, they were concerned about our stuff, it never happened again..they were very apologetic, we had complimentary chocolates everyday (it took us several days before we left another tip) and each day there were more and more nice presentations in the room. But other than that little incident, it was amazing and if money grew on trees, I'd be staying there in 2013.

Our stay last year at the Yacht side was fantastic but our stay here was even better. Our newly refurbished room was spotless and so spacious. Mousekeeping was excellent and we were left a great selection of towel art. The marketplace (shop) was very convenient and had a good choice of hot and cold counter service meals and snacks. The quiet pool area was tranquil. We didn't think we would like the Beach side as much as the Yacht, and it was our second choice of accommodation, but it was so good that we are going to return in 2011.

What can I say - one of my best hotel experiences ever! On arrival from car park attendant to front of house everyone greeted me by name - how do they manage to know this so quickly? We were given a free upgrade worth at least £60 per night to a water front room from a standard room. The room had plenty of space for a family of five. Only down side be careful of the depth of the lazy river at the pool it goes up to 8 feet plus in depth - really didn't like this. Loved the Mickey cupcakes from the hotel shop. Mousekeeping services were spot on and provided an excellent service. In a nutshell if you ever get the chance you should really try the Beach Club - the staff always greet you by saying Welcome Home - I'm so missing this place already and would go back without any hesitation - highly recommended place to stay. Awesome customer service skills and great free transport links to all Disney parks - you really don't need a car once you are on site - next time I'd not bother with a car as it really isn't needed.

My 10 year old son (at the time) says "It's a great hotel and it's suitable for all ages. It's really neat and tidy and I recommend this hotel over any other hotel. The pool is great and you can't get a better pool than this one".

We had a fabulous holiday here with four children. We had two interconnecting rooms which gave us loads of space. The pool was fabulous! Especially the sinking sands and lazy river. Epcot was less than a five minute walk and Hollywood Studios was only a 15-20minute walk.

Having the free dining plan made this excellent value for money for us! Heading back in August 2012, would struggle to stay anywhere else!

This one is easy I love this resort, my home resort is SSR but I love this one just as much if not more. The reason I love this resort is the rooms are lovely but apart from that everything is just so convient,I have a toddler and in the evenings we can visit the parks & if he falls asleep I don't have to lift him just walk back thats why we try to split our stay between here & SSR.

Lovely hotel with everything you expect from Disney. Rooms were of a nice size and were spotlessly clean. Located on the Disney Boardwalk so superb location and walking distance to EPCOT. Everywhere else is served by the Disney transport network which is very efficient and reliable.

Staying in the run up to christmas was magical but anytime of year would be great to visit.

The pool area is fantastic and there's even a private beach area.

The only down side is Disney prices in the hotel bars and restaurants but I guess you'd expect that.
