Closing DIBB Social Groups
 

Please note that as of 1 April 2018 we will be removing the Social Groups feature from the DIBB

This is due in part to the new privacy laws coming in to force in May and also due to the limited use the social groups feature receives.

If you have created a social group that you would like to keep then please create a new thread in General Chat to be used instead of the social group.

That's such a shame as its harder to follow things when its just one long thread in general chat - its nice to be able to have separate subtopics like we have in our current October social group and previous Easter groups.

I agree, I have always enjoyed being part of the various social groups too

Can we have a definitive list of which groups would be affected?

What do you mean by a definitive list? They are ALL going as the feature is being removed.

I totally agree with this post. :wavey:
I will try putting the Sept/Oct 2018 social group in general chat and see if it works.

If there is enough demand then I can create a new forum for social type threads so that they don’t get lost in the general chat.

Stu. Has the "who goes when" option disappeared from the menu? Is this related to said privacy laws?
