Hotel advice for Whiskey/rainbow bar n grill
 

Got two gigs in the Whiskey a go go bar and was looking for some advice on wheres a good hotel to stay in that doesn't cost the earth

Not sure what your definition of “doesn’t cost the Earth is”. If you want somewhere you can walk/quick Uber back to try the Chamberlain or the Best Western Sunset. The Alta Cienega motel (Jim Morrison’s former home) is budget but not family friendly, haven’t stayed but the area is upmarket and residential but the actual motel is a bit shabby and could do with a lick of paint but fine for young people out to party. Look on Expedia/Hotwire etc at the other choices in W Hollywood sometimes there’s a bargain esp on Hotwire and the hotels on the area are all fine so a hot rate is not too risky. If West Hollywood is out of budget Hollywood is cheaper but a bit further and not as upmarket.
