License plate game - printout anyone ?

Does anyone have a check sheet of the 50 USA license plates that i can print off

I have had a look online and can't find anything.

Just thought i would ask before i start making something myself.

Joan and I have done this for many years.

When we first started I just did an Excel sheet and wrote all the states down, printed it and Joan marked them off. About 4 or 5 years ago though Joan found an app for her iPhone which not only records them but fills the map in as you go. Also a lot less obvious than sitting in a car with a pen and sheet of paper.

By the way you need 51 since the District Of Columbia also issues plates. Very rare but we spotted it last April for maybe only the second time. ;)

Very sad I know but I also have a master spread sheet recording every visit  Never got all 51 in one holiday though.

PS JoJo 88 has a very fancy sheet with images of all the plates on as well - she was a little angry with me when I told her she'd missed DoC :)

PPS

We also collect state quarters. Real coins not images.

There are two separate series and they are also issued by offshore territories such as USVI and Porto Rica. Been collecting for years and for the last 3 or 4 years the only state we were missing was Texas and we got that this April.

Usually just tear the page listing the states out of the USA Today. Delivered free with our complimentary breakfast!

Yes but do you keep them? Bet you don't know what plates you got in December 2009? ;)
