Please sign & help us save our Leisure Centre

Posted with permission:

Hi folks, I wondered if you could take 2 mins out of your day to sign this petition. Our local Leisure Trust want to close our Leisure Centre. This would be massive loss to the community. As well as being the location for swimming lessons, junior gym, loads of classes for adults and kids, it's home to my childrens swim club. To lose the pool as a cost cutting measure would devastate the club and all the members. Not only that but the community payed 100k towards the centre and also funded the addition of an AstroTurf area which is used by so many local kids who can pay £1 and go in and play football with friends. If you can help by signing, I'd appreciate it so much. Remember to verify your email address after signing but you can skip the sharing part after (although any shares would be great)

Thank you so much. 3 of 4 age groups of Fife Novice League were won by Burntisland swim teams this year, the thought of them being "homeless" is heartbreaking. Never mind all the school kids who learn here and the staff :(

A shortsighted decision.

Happily signed, loved Burntisland when wee. I must take my little angels to the Kingdom of Fife this year.

I’ve signed. Used to take my DD as a baby 21 years ago. Baby pool was warmer than the Carnegie pool 😀
