Is anyone still hopeful for September? Curious to see...

This is purely out of curiosity!

Negative welcome but please don't bash anyone who is hopeful for their trip, we're living in uncertain times and everyone deserves something to look forward too whether you agree with them or not!

I want to know if theres anyone out there still hopeful for their September 2020 trips? I still have a trip booked for September 17th - October 1st on site at Disney, we were originally booked into Port Orleans Riverside but have now been moved to Caribbean Beach Resort. I'm up and down daily and seeing the Florida cases coming down each day is giving me a little bit of hope but now we're 6 weeks away I have no idea which way it will end up going! (although have a gut feeling it will be cancelled)

I have decided that if I'm allowed in then I will happily go as the restrictions don't bother me and I know I'll enjoy that 15 min wait for FoP ;) if it doesn't go ahead then I have booked for July 2021 as a back-up as well as having a sneaky trip to DCA booked for February 2021!

Is there anyone else like me out there! Feeling very alone and only keep seeing negativity and would like to see some positivity!

I think we’ve finally thrown in the towel, we had agreed to still go, and just do other things till Disney kinda got back to some sort of normal, but with how it all is out there , we’ve now decided we’re not going:cry:
I’ve just come out of sheilding and we’ve resigned ourselves the furthest we may go,this year is to visit family in Cornwall.

Due to fly 18th September. Have rebooked for September next year, and also rebooked our May dlc and Arizona trip .

Hi

I cannot see how anyone can go yet until the Government have lifted the restrictions for travel and the US have lifted the restrictions for allowing foreign travellers in. It would be very risky travelling as your insurance will not cover you for anything let alone COVID related illness.

If there are people out there keeping up hope I don’t want to bash it, however I don’t see it being possible. I cancelled new year this Dec and thought I was being overly cautious at the time, now I feel it was a fair decision.

Dec, really? 😕 Sorry to hear - we’re still hopeful for 28th Dec departure

we're keeping fingers crossed for this December as cases are coming down? maybe, possibly? We change our mind everyday!
Next month seems tight though but then again nobody knows

I really hope the Orlando numbers are coming down and stay down - holiday plans aside, I feel so very sorry for all those living there and mainly want to see a reverse of numbers for their sakes. Our October trip has been cancelled and rebooked for January next year but tbh we cannot even see that one happening.
It doesn't stop us from hoping though but we have plans for next August with family which feels a lot more possible and sweetens the pill.

We had to cancel our 29th September trip recently as virgin had cancelled our flights - we still would have gone - we too were staying at POR - we were meant to go in May but re-booked for September full of hope - but now everything is cancelled - couldn't risk our money to change to BA as we wouldn't be covered because it was like making a new booking - and there were 6 of us going - so sad - as we all can't get together for a trip next year. We are going to go to Greece instead all being well in October this year - good luck to you and hope you do get to go - and enjoy yourselves -:wave:

We have booked for November, no idea if we will get there but we felt we should try.
