Dinner jackets Men DCL - Formal Night?
Quick question, do Men really need dinner jackets on formal night on DCL? Would a smart shirt, trousers and smart shoes do? I like to get dressed smart but I don’t want to go OTT just for dinner on a cruise. I’m not into getting dressed like you at a wedding on my holidays.
We have previously done RC and even on formal night it wasn’t dinner jackets. |
I would say no. I’ve been on several DCL cruises and think I’ve only seen two or three families dressed up to the nines - including small boys in DJs!

No. I agree we only saw 1 or 2 families on our previous DCL cruises and none in the staycations.

I'm genuinely not sure I've even worn trousers on any of our DCL cruises.
I can't remember doing so anyway. |
You will see a complete mix but most people are just trousers and shirt from my experience. Its weird on the staycations as there is no formal night at all but again you get a full range.

This is good to know thanks.
So you can still get into the restaurants / won’t get turned away? (unless Remy and Palo I believe) |

Attire has never been something I’ve worried about on DCL. |
