Last time we went to Orlando 5 yrs ago, because we flew with an American airline coming home we could check our luggage in at our hotel which was wonderful but I cant find any mention of it now , has it been done away with.?:(

We checked our luggage at Port Orleans Riverside on 18th October, we were flying with United airlines. Bell services collected all the bags and us 3 as well and drove us (in a golf cart) to the desk. We got boarding passes then took our carry on luggage on the coach to the airport:wave::wavey:

It's called Resort Airline check-in - and still offered at the Disney resorts. Just need to be aware that there are some exclusions and not all airlines/passengers are eligible for it. (I distinctly remember seeing a sign outside Pop a couple of days ago saying that for one of the airlines it was only for domestic flights, but can't remember which airline...)

Edit to add - the times that you can use the service might be restricted as well (so that they have enough time to get luggage to the airport etc).

Thanks everyone for your replies, I have just checked and we would not be able to use it because we are flying with Delta and our first flight with them is to Boston then on to Manchester so classed as a domestic I presume, last time it was American Airlines.
