Stitch’s great escape
 

Is this ride closing? Is it still only open part of the year?
Any hints that it will become something else?
It seems such a waste of space lol

Turning into something else i would imiagine, I think I saw in a you tube vid somewhere - it was used as a candy station at the halloween party and the robot police office was gone.

At the moment I believe its used as a stitch meet and greet in the preshow area.

I didn’t know you could meet stitch there. That’s a good idea. That ride was just awful, it almost crushed my shoulders to bits lol

Yeah it's shut... and yes, it's currently a stitch meet and greet :)

I recall seeing the animatronic from it on that "Back stage Disney" website.
It's a massive shame, it was a fantastic attraction.

There was talk last year that it was going to be turned into a wreck it Ralph driving ride which would have been awesome but there hasn’t been much talk of it lately so maybe the idea got binned.

It's closed forever, however Disney's official webpage still says that it is only "temporarily closed":

It seems Disney is reluctant to state that it is definitely closed for good, for some reason.

As above, there are strong rumours that a Wreck-It-Ralph attraction will take its place. Although those rumours have been mentioned for the past couple of years and there still isn't any announcement.
