BA car hire
 

I am trying to book car hire through BA/Avis using my avios points. Frankly it is driving me round the bend. The website only works as far as payment and then just crashes (tried several times) and have spent approx 30 minutes of my life on hold trying to do it over the phone with British Airways, whose hold spiel keeps helpfully telling me if I cannot wait it is quicker to book online :mad::mad:
Any ideas? I would give up but it’s making my car hire £85 instead of £400 ish cash price.
