Chase launched recently in the UK. They have a bank account you can open easily with an app and you can also have a linked savings account.

Benefits include
1% cashback on all debit card spend
1.5% instant access savings account.
Round up on transactions with savings earning 5%

They also don’t charge commission on foreign transactions and allow fee free withdrawals of cash at chase ATMs in the US.

My wife and I both have the account and use it as a secondary account for travel. We used it on 2 recent trips to the US where it worked perfectly.

It’s a shame they didn’t start this referral program sooner, I’ve already got most of my family and friends signed up 😀

I really like the sound of this card however my concern is if card gets cloned/lost its my money that be lost whereas if I use my Halifax Clarity its not my money as such! I do like the sounds of chase

I’m exactly the same. I never use my debit card abroad for this reason, I stick with a credit card (Halifax Clarity for me too).

If it’s stolen and fraudulently used then you shouldn’t have a problem getting your money back (just like you wouldn’t have a problem getting the liability unwound on the credit card if used fraudulently).

I use this as a secondary account so only ever have in what I’m going to spend and I can send out of my main bank account to this one instantaneously to top it up.

Chase have FSCS protection just like any other UK bank.
