Villa Scam - Kelly Price

Anyone seen the Mirror today about the couple who were caught up in the terrible Tunisia attacks and have now become victims of a villa scam by a lady called Kelly Price?

Apparently they are not the only ones. Lots of posts on other media regarding families who have booked to stay with this woman.:mad2:

Hope no Dibbers are affected by this. Truly heartbreaking for these families. How can people be so wicked :nonono::nonono:

It's just disgusting how some people think it's okay to rip others off like this.

Apparently she has just set up a new Facebook page, her husband is Nicholas... beware.

Yes, its been all over the FB groups the last few days. She advertised on gum tree, so her ad's have been reported on there too, but have now been taken down. Her Mother who goes by the name Marion Price or Marion Verner is also thought to be involved.

it reinforces the fact that should always book through established sites using their established payment systems and not through cheap, too good to be true offers online. The price difference in using such a system including the ability to pay by credit card is there for a reason, and that is your own protection.

At the end of the day if an offer looks too good to be true, it usually is!

This woman appears to have "arranged" people's whole holidays too, not just villas. Some have lost flight and tickets too.

There was also a post from a villa owner who was reportedly scammed by her.
