When everyone around you go Florida but you go next year

Anybody else with me who don’t go until next August but have people around you going this year?
My husband boss flew out today, a teaching assistant flys out next Saturday for 3 weeks, a member of my staffs girls are going with grandparents mid August and one of the pupils at my school are going too I found out today!
I will be happy when 20th August comes so I can say woohoo less than a year to go! :pgig:

I can remember this time last year, like it was yesterday. Don’t worry, you’ll be going soon enough 😊

I can't relate (outside of this forum of course :)) with the "everyone else seems to be going but I have to wait a year" - but a year will go by really quickly.

I’m always happy for my friends going on holiday. I think if our holidays are later, theirs will be over when we are looking forward to ours.

Yes a couple of friends at work, one going next week the other end of August and we are end of September next year but I always look forward to their photos and stories and after all when they come back it’s closer to me going :d:

I know that feeling, my friend is there with her family now and we don’t go till July next year.

I’ve done some accommodation bookings but we’re having a wee lull in planning just now till the flights are released, I think that makes it feel worse, it seems such a long time away :(

I love it...cos I know when theirs is over I've still got mine to come 😉
