A Surprise return To The Beach Club - Day 10

No bus to catch today, we were walking over to Epcot again. After a coffee and quick game of snooker at the resort, we headed straight to Sunshine Seasons for a snack breakfast - we love a cinnamon roll! We watched the dancing fountains, and shopped in Mousegear - sending our stuff back to the resort before using our first FP on Test Track and checking all the cars out afterwards.
We only had 1 other FP booked for later in the day so went back into the World Showcase to 'do' the pavilions properly. We watched Oh, Canada and looked in all the shops there and in the UK before crossing the bridge to France for a Grey Goose slush and creme brûlée. Then we watched Impressions de France followed by a Macaron ice cream sandwich. DD decided to go back to Future World and we just took the rest of the day slowly wandering around the lake, stopping in each country and watching entertainers etc. We had lunch at Liberty Inn, then watched the American Adventure and bought a couple of decorations in the shop.
As it got dark we met up with DD in Italy ready for our ADR in Tutto Italia, a new restaurant to us. DD had been back on Test Track and used the FP on Mission Space as well as trying some of the F&W booths and sneakily getting me a Geir gift set in Norway to put away for DH for Xmas.
In Tutto Italia we were given olives and breadsticks etc while we ordered, DD (40) was asked for ID and showed her driving licence which she's used everywhere all holiday. It was refused , quite rudely, by the manager. She actually had a photocopy of her passport but stopped taking it as she'd never been asked for it! So she had Orangina. The food was really nice and the service a little too prompt as I think they were starting to get ready for closing. The waiter was very nice to us, bringing extra olives etc, trying (we thought) to make up for the rudeness earlier. We would eat there again to give them another chance as we did enjoy the food. We saw the end of Illuminations as we came out and had a quick walk back to BC along the banks of the Seine 🙂.

Another lovely day. The food in Tutto looks lovely such a shame about the rude manager with DD though, I hope you left a complaint! Fair enough if they can't take the ID but there's no need to be rude about it! xx

I think he was just 'one of those' people. He seemed the same with the staff!

How rude of that manager! The food looks nice though. I do love a good stroll through World Showcase.

Hope the rudeness didn't take too much of the shine off a great day 👍

More great photos and food, particularly like the naan and dips that looks great.

Looks like a brilliant day, I love the variety of things to do in Epcot. I realise that they do ask for a photocopy of passport plus driving licence, but the manager shouldn’t have been rude about it. I take a photo of my passport on my phone but I have never been asked for ID (as I don’t look a young 50+ year old 😀 ) Your DD does look a young 40 year old though, it must be good genes 😃
