Flight deposit
 

Hi, I was under the impression that if I booked flights and then added one or two nights in a hotel, I could pay deposit only.

Just tried this in BA, but it wants full payment 😔- Tried customise which I assumed would work.
With things as they are, I would rather just pay deposit.
Any suggestions would be fab 🤞

Make sure you're going through custom trip on flight + hotel rather than choosing a flight and then adding a hotel.

Think I’ve worked it out. It can be done, however the flight price is more.
Same flight but in package- £100 pp more expensive 😔

This was in browser rather than the app though, if that makes a difference.

You’re not trying to book a different airport or flight classes for out/ return are you? When I wanted to do this a couple of years ago I could only do it by phoning them for deposit only.

I tried that but also did same airport in and out. I found the price I wanted flight only, but when I added a night in hotel so I could pay as package, the same flight price increased by £100 😔
