This morning we woke at 6.45am, and enjoyed watching the ship’s arrival in Cabo at 7.45am from our porthole.

We enjoyed breakfast at 8am with view.

We then went for a walk around deck 10 to see the views of Cabo.

We had opted long ago not to explore Cabo today because it is primarily a beach resort and we wanted to enjoy the quiet ship instead.

Instead, we started our day with a massage at the Senses spa. The appointment was 9.15am, and I loved it. It was Matt’s first massage and he was less keen (he said they kept tickling his feet – lol). The Couples massage experience cost $141.01 each including tip.

We went back to the stateroom to change afterwards, and then headed out to the pool, opting to spend the day at the quiet adults pool.

We had lunch at 1pm at Cabanas, which was offering an American theme today.

We decided to try some Dole Whips today – they are not like the Dole Whips at the Parks, being more like a drink than an ice cream – which were yummy, a bit like a smoothie. These cost $11.39 for the two.

At 4.30pm, we headed down to the stateroom to start preparing for the evening ahead, which was also formal night. We bumped into Belle just wandering around on the way.

Tonight’s show was The Golden Mickeys which was a really good show but I wasn’t really impressed by the execution. It was a bit rough around the edges compared to other Disney productions I’ve seen.

Before the show, the Captain introduced his Steering Committee to the audience, and explained about the two hurricane weather systems that were now trying to avoid, and advised us to expect some rocky seas.

After the show, we went to the D Lounge to participate in Disney Tunes Trivia. We got 43/45 but two groups got the full 45, so we did not win.

We watched two game shows this evening in Azure – the first was Seriously (a bit like the paddle round of Mr & Mrs here in the UK) and then, our favourite, Match Your Mate! Match Your Mate was brilliant, with a couple of real highlights from the couples.

It was a late one tonight, with us not hitting the pillow until 11.30pm, and it had been a brilliant day!

lovely dress but what does formal night mean? We sail on P&O It that entails dinner suits for men

On Disney, it doesn't mean that. It means 'get dressed up if you want, but no pressure if you don't'. You see all sorts. We like getting dressed up, Matt is a bit more casual than me, but others wear shorts still. It's nice that it's relaxed.
