Budget car hire and debit card
 

Hi, we are looking at a fly drive with British airways and the car hire is with budget, we have used Alamo and avis before and used our debit card for the security deposit but BA are saying budget wont accept a debit card, has anyone used budget and used a debit card or will it have to be a credit card, thank you

We used a Debit Card with Budget at Fort Lauderdale Airport without issue. You could contact the actual location to confirm.

Budget & Avis are the same company. Debit cards are fine.
