Ray Rush - Aquatica Orlando

Ray Rush at Aquatica Orlando is a fully-loaded water adventure which combines three unique slide elements, never before seen at Aquatica, into one action-packed attraction the entire family can enjoy together.

The nearly 60-foot tall attraction brings family and friends together as they take on three exciting slide elements in rafts that seat up to six riders. First, riders will be launched with powerful water jets designed to propel the rafts into the first of several enclosed tube sections.

Next, riders enter a giant translucent sphere, rocking back and forth as waves of water swirl around them. Finally, riders will drop into the attraction’s signature element, an open-air half-pipe that resembles the shape of a manta ray.

You must have a minimum of 3 riders per raft and a maximum of 6 people. No single or double riders. You also need to be 42 inches tall to ride.

There is a maximum weight limit of 1,000 lbs or 454 kgs and a minimum of 250 lbs or 113 kgs per raft and you will be weighed as a group before boarding as you can see in my video below.

I do love a good water park raft ride and Ray Rush did deliver in fun and excitement. It also delivered a few bucket loads of water to cool you down from the Florida sunshine.

We done it last Friday...it was brilliant, waited maybe 30 minutes but it was well worth it.
