At last the day had arrived when we would be seeting off for Manchester before our holiday to Vegas and California.

I was up at around 6.30 and Bill got out of him pit around 9 with some encouragement from me. We still hd not packed or bought a case for our laptop, so we went to the Metrocentre to buy the case. Came home packed and set off for Manchester at around 1.30, where we were booked into the Radisson for the night.

After an uneventual journey we arrived at the Securapark place dropped off the car. The lady asked me where we were going on holiday and I immediately said “Florida”. I was too embarassed to then say actually I got that wrong and we were going to Vegas. We were then bussed to the Radisson. Check in was easy. We were asked if we required an alarm call in the morning, whci we declined and were soon in our room number 535. The room was the Scandanavian Style which we both like.

We decided to eat at Garfunkels for dinner that night. So off we set for the airport and soon arrived at Garfunkels.I had a cheese omelette andfries and Billy had a toasted cheese sandwich and fries. My omelette was lovely and Billy’s cheese sandwich was OK he said but not as nice as those on offer at the Cheesecake factory in Orlando. We then went back to the Radisson and watched some TV. I set my alarmon my mobile for 8 am (as we told reception we did not need an alarm call) and we went to sleep at about 10.30pm.
