BA just cancelled flight segments for Feb half term

we had an email this morning to say that BA have cancelled legs of our indirect flights in Feb 21. The flights were AA booked through BA as part of a package. We've been unable to get through so far today but i'm assuming that we'll be able to cancel and get a cash refund. Anyone had this for Feb?

I booked BA flights for Easter (direct) did not even realise one was AA. Got an email yesterday saying the AA flight out was cancelled and they has instead put us on the earlier BA one- suits us as I think that was more expensive.
If they have cancelled your flights you can ask for cash refund- due in 7 days if flight only or 14 if package.

well they actually cancelled the MIA to MCO route and on the way back our MCO to ORD gets us in 14 mins after our LHR one leaves! I'm actually relieved that now we don't have to make any decisions and get vouchers for the deposit. I really thought we'd be back to a bit of normality by then but doesn't look like it yet!

Our February half term flights with BA were cancelled and rescheduled on Friday. We are flying LHR > LAX, originally with AA (free seat selection) and were changed to BA flights on the same day. Slightly later in the day but not inconvenient.

Try phoning them first thing in the morning. I had a query last year (pre-COVID) and phone lines were very busy due to the strikes, but I got straight though when the call centre was first opening. I’m pretty sure it was about 7.30am

I wouldn’t worry too much for now.

Similar happened to me with BA and AA. They cancelled my connection and put me on a new flight that was departing before my first flight even landed...

I called them up and got it sorted, only for them to change the flights again a few months later and then again after that.

I assume at the moment, flights and routes won’t be confirmed for the airlines yet for Feb so is likely to be subject to change.
