Gaming Laptop Advice
DS is looking at getting a new laptop and would like it to be able to use it for occasional gaming. In the words of Manuel "I know nothing" (If you're not of a certain age - it's a Fawlty Towers reference :D)
Can anyone help with suggestions of models or specs he should be looking at, he's thinking of spending between £600 - £1,000 although would prefer to be closer to the lower end. Thanks :thumbs-up |
What do you mean by occasional gaming? What games as whether you play them once or all day, they still have a minimum specification.
True gaming laptops from the likes of (DELL Alienware) are north of £1.5k so you are really looking at the higher end of normal laptops. DELL have a gaming spec as well for the more casual gamer. These can be found at https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/lapt...ptops/g-series |

Thanks |
You need to be looking at the models with 16Gb RAM to meet the games requirements.
I would suggest one with a minimum of an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and a dedicated graphics card with at least 4Gb RAM. There are both G3 and G5 models that meet those specifications. |
