Hi Everyone

So if I want to type pre trip report "here" and make that a hyperlink to the actual trip report how do I do that. I cant for the life of me figure it out and id class myself as pretty good on computers :wave:

thanks in advance

You're not alone. This is the reason I've never written a proper trip report, I can't work out how to do it either! I expect it's really easy when you know what to do

My next dining pre-trip report is here.

To do this, I opened up my dining report on a separate tab, highlighted the full URL and copied it with ctrl C. Then switched back to this page and highlighted the word “here” in the sentence above. With the word highlighted, I looked in the text box for the symbol that looks like a global with a paper clip underneath it, click on that and a pop up box appeared, paste the previously copied url into the box and click ok.

If you wanted to highlight a particular post such as this one on the Leaky Cauldron there is a slightly different technique.

This time I go to the specific Leaky cauldron post and in the top corner of it there is a symbol which looks like a paper clip with a green + sign. Click on that symbol and then ctrl C to copy it. Then as above, highlight the word in your post that you want to turn into a hyperlink and use the globe button as previously.

Thank you Claudette, I'm going to have a go.

We're going to Wrestlemania in Tampa and I started a thread about it here

ETA - it worked! Thanks again. It is easy when you know how
