Split stay DDP question

Considering renting points for our next stay.

We would want to buy the DDP. (Yes I know, but we have done the maths and it works for us. Putting money aside on a card might also work, but we prefer not to have to think about how much the food actually costs! Also with exchange rate problems etc, this means we know upfront how much we need.)

If we did a split stay - say 10 days in one resort and 4 in another - how would that work with DDP? Could we buy 14 days DDP from the first person, or would we need to buy the two lots separately? (Indeed, can you actually buy less than 5 days DDP? I know you can't if booking through Disney).

You would need to buy DDP separately for each stay. The person you are renting from would need to arrange it either online or via Member Services.

You can do less than 5 nights but everyone in the reservation has to have it and for the entire length of stay

Thank you!

Just remember members have to pay the US price for DDP which does make a difference. It may still work for you but worth bearing in mind.

As a DVC renter, You can also choose whether or not you want DDP or deluxe plan or QSDP. You can also 'split' dining plans to suit your split stay eg 7 nights on DDP followed by 5 nights on QSDP for example.Check with whoever you rented points from.

We've done 2 days DDP before.
