Argos fluctuating prices
 

Sorry I needed to vent a bit about this. Cutting a long story short, I was going to get a tv from Argos this time last week as it dropped from 350 to 330, I couldn't get it that day cos I was waiting for the gift cards... roll to saturday, cards arrived, price gone up so I thought fair enough I'll wait, it is nearly black friday... roll to Monday, price now 379... roll to today.. now 399... kinda ridiculous and i'm stuck with argos because of the vouchers (or currys who I am loathed to shop with). WTH is argos doing! going to see what happens over the next few days/week, just wanted to vent at the stupidness of it.

We had 3 gift card reward codes each for 100.. we had to choose what store or type of card to change these to, we wanted e cards for argos originally but discovered you could only get ecards of up to 50 which would mean 6 of them and you can only enter 3 codes in at argos so that wouldn't work. then looked at John lewis, the same capp, so had to get 3x100 physical love2shop cards.

I have noticed this with argos before, and they usually put their prices up before they drop them, so that it looks like its a bigger bargain than what it actually is! It might be because of the black Friday sales

I'm hoping it drops back down again. If not, I may even get what I think is the next model up that is on offer at Currys. I wish JL was on the love2shop card but unfortunately not.

It will probably go down to £300 for black Friday so will look like a great deal

Dynamic pricing - Amazon are the worst offenders. Their prices go up and down throughout the day. They even have different prices for the same trainers but a different size!

darn i cannot do currys with the gift card as you have to go instore to use it and not online... i hate gift cards!
