Does it make any difference which side I pick up my car hire, a or b. Are there differences on availability of cars either side?;)

It makes no difference at all

You're supposed to go the terminal you flight arrives at - I always used to go the other one, thinking it might be quicker.

Hertz Gold allocates a specific bay and last two visits they allocated it on the B side, when it should have been A (for Virgin). Once they brought the car over (it was brand new) but last time they just found us another car - and turned out it was a grade down from what they'd reserved (it was what we'd booked, I'd just missed out on the upgrade).

Hi Busby, some opt to avoid driving the airport circular... A for heading north to the 528. B exits airport side for heading south to the 417.
