Passport Office Appreciation!
 

Really impressed with current turn around time on my DD renewal (child passport). It was handed into the Liverpool branch last Monday afternoon around 4pm, text to say it was being processed arrived Wednesday morning (along with payment taken from card) and the new passport has just arrived. Very happy with the service! Might be worth putting your applications in now as there mustn't be any backlog at the moment.

Ugh, mine is taking longer. I did mine online and sent my old passport and marriage certificate last Monday, it's still says it's being processed. Mine is only a surname change as I got married.
Glad yours was quick hoping mine isn't too much longer.

Both my kids were renewed quickly a few months ago as well.

Either the passport office have realised how many staff they need to run the show &/or people are realising waiting until the last minute isn't a good idea and spreading the applications out!
