BA offering me twilight check in but flight 2.10pm

BA sent me a text today saying airport expected to be busy on Monday and I can do twilight check in tomorrow 6-9pm

Thats usually for flights leaving before 1pm ( mine is 2.10pm) Im guessing they are trying to lighten the load for Monday …… but I dont want to turn up tomoz to be sent away.

Any Dibbers had this offer ?

Yes, but useless to us as we’re connecting through LHR from Edinburgh! I think it’s just a general mail out.

We had it and I thought yay then remembered we only have hand luggage 😂

Do you mind me asking where your flying from ? I'm due out midday on 12th Dec from LGW but staying night before in hotel , I would love to be able to drop off bags on the 11th. I know they used to do it from LGW but suspended service during height of Covid. I can't get any info / response from BA on whether this is back at LGW North Terminal ? :confused2

Monday mornings are quite popular with business travellers. It's probably just an automated message based on previous traffic patterns.

Maybe everyone did what I did and panic booked an early flight to the USA before ( in the unlikely now tho ) in case they slam the borders shut again :)

I have seen posts on FB that the Twilight Check In is not available at Gatwick North.
