Put the oven on for the precooked chicken and fries we’ve picked up from Publix on the way to the villa so they’re doing nicely as we dump cases in rooms etc! Then one of us unpacks the first night essentials quickly as the other sorts dinner!

Sit, eat, chill.

Job done for the first night!

Shower, unpack, straight to MK, cry at castle, picture at castle, Casey’s hotdog, mooch around until HEA then back to the hotel and crash!

Say hi to the villa again, back in the car to maccies for a big mac, off to publix for some sushi to snack on later and then Walmart for the essentials.

Go to the nearest Starbucks for a cup of tea, then Walmart for tea, milk and ginger biscuits. Foodwise we always go to CiCi.s for our first night meal then we don't feel too bad if we fall asleep halfway through!

Pool food and bed!

Check room everything ok, shower, shorts, polo top out immediately to have a walk then dinner mmmmmm dinner

We never have arrived in MCO early as always on the late Virgin flight, so in to room, get a few drinks from the shop and then sleep. Flying in to Miami the last two years, we have had an earlier arrival time, so quick dip in the pool and a cocktail, then up to the room to chill and get an early night. We find sleeping from about 8pm gives us a full nights sleep, when we wake at 4 am the following morning.

Ha another vote for walmart always our first stop although we should arrive earlier this year so might have time for a swim

Sit and enjoy the Arby's takeout we've been craving since the last trip
Unpack and freshen up
Pick up Chris's ECV, and head to Disney Springs for Magic Bands and that first rush of Disney and a pink lemonade slushie
Head to Walmart with the best of intentions, but get too tired half way round, so give up with what we've got and decide to get the rest tomorrow
Back to the condo, shopping away and crash

Check all as it should be in our friend's villa (been going here for last 8 years)
Check all window locks secured (arrived once to patio doors unlocked)
Have the usual arguments about who's having which room (I pay, I decide)
Remove 100 decorative cushions from each bed so we can actually get in them (stuff them in cupboard till leaving day)
Unpack and play "hunt the coathangers"

DH is in charge of checking wifi and TVs, connecting all gadgets, dishing out the adapters to various rooms and finding the night lights.

We always have Taco Bell en route to the villa so never need to go back out on first evening. DH is always up at crazy o'clock on Day 1 so he has done the Walmart basics shop and is back with breakfast before the rest of us have even woken up.

On the rare occasion we've flown direct and arrived at a decent time, we've also had a night time swim.

Not long to wait now.
