Escape four night mandatory Resort stay?
 

WE think we may have completely discounted this " Escape" as our vow renewal next year as we will all be staying in a Villa but does anyone know if we could use the mandatory four night stay on a previous trip as part of our "planning?"

We are there in the June before the October and need three nights still anyhow?

I may be wrong, but I think the mandatory stay needs to be over the wedding :(
There are no such stay obligations with a Swan and Dolphin wedding. Might be worth a look for you ;)

I think the stay has to be within a certain number of days of the wedding so i'm pretty sure a planning trip won't count.

I have read of them being flexible over this. When we booked I gave a reservation number, and later cancelled it and rebooked at another hotel. Forgot to tell DFTW and they must never check!

Are going to contact Just marry too, if we do S and D have I read somewhere that they are the only others that can arrange a Disney Character?

Yep that's right you can have characters at a S&D wedding :) I'm pretty sure the stay has to be during your wedding sorry :(
